Huh. Weird. You don't say. [ Yeah, this guy has never been good at deadpan sarcasm. He flicks his fingers like kicking an imaginary paper football (at Red's face). ]

I hear there's a snow mountain around in Sinnoh if you ever wanna get lost up one again.

[Red watches the movement of Green's fingers for a moment, bemused, then snaps back to attentiveness when Green starts to talk again.]

Wow, really? That sounds super exciting, Green! We should go traveling there sometime...

Hm. [ It was a sorta real question! The guy disappears up a mountain for ages and then comes back down and does what, visit his mother today? What else? But does he want to ask? It's not like he cares that much...!

[Unfortunately, Red gets bored easily. Very easily. So after a few moments of silence he gives up on waiting for Green to add anything else to the conversation, and instead pulls out his phone. It's obviously new, and mostly not set up yet, which shows in the way Red pulls a face that quickly goes from eager to perplexed and back again as he takes too long to work through the buttons for EVERYTHING.

Whether it's opening apps, scrolling, following onscreen instructions, or pretty much anything else that should be user-intuitive, using a smartphone effectively seems to be quite a bit slower process for Red than most people. Of course it is. He's Red.]

[ Please, that phone could be Red-ready by his own mother and Green would be surprised if he could use one. ]

Y-Yes!! Sort of... [Said a little too quickly, and defensively, even if he's too stupid to flat-out lie about it.] I've never had a phone like this before, so it's hard, is all!

Oh! R-Right! [Face flushing with mild embarrassment at the mistake, Red hands over his phone nearly clumsily enough to drop it.]

[ And let Green just take that with his natural awesome, more than adjusted to the symbols on the screen from his own (infrequent) use of his pokégear.

Oh! I wanted to figure out how to take a picture so I can send it to people.

That? [ Easy. He turns the phone around, facing the screen to Red. ] You want the one that looks like a camera. Press it.

Um... [Honestly, none of those square-ish icons looks much like a camera to Red, but he picks the one with a circle-thing that might be a lens.] Oh! Is that it, is it taking a picture?

No. You get to line up the phone with whatever you want to take a picture of, then- [ Siigh, which one is it? Right, that- ] you press that and it'll take the picture. Got it?
