[whelp, we can just jump a head, passed Ethan challenging the league, winning a second time, and getting bucket loads of attention that he didn't really care for. He could deal with it because he knew Red would get to go home and see his mother for the weekend.

But on Monday, the cooking lesson goes...

[ WEEKEND WITH MOM YAAAAAAAAY and Red was ~so cheerful~ when he got back to the mountain

...but then this happened why

there may be a few first- and second-degree burns on Red's hands now. also his arms, torso, possibly lower legs and a lone one that somehow made it onto his back - but Red's not too concerned about those. he dealt with 'em all the time as a kid, albeit usually falling to Oak or Daisy to patch him up.

failing the cooking lesson, on the other hand, that's rather upsetting. ]

O-Oh no...! [ AND THIS HAD ALL STARTED SO WELL TOO WHY DO WE HAVE TO FAIL AT THINGS IN FRONT OF ETHAN OF ALL PEOPLE ] -I-I'm sorry, Ethan I don't know how it happened - I didn't mean to burn everything...you didn't get hurt, did you? I'm so sorry!!

[ Red winces a bit out of reflex as Ethan's hands graze the burns on his own. Still, he looks a fair bit more humiliated than actually hurt. ]

N-No, really, you don't have to waste them! The burns will go away if I wait long enough...

No way! I want yah to have 'em, anything if it helps yah... [before Red can further protest, Ethan has a burn heal out and sprays down his hands and the part of his arm he can see the burn trailed up. Feels much better, huh?]

It got all over yah, didn't it? Maybe we oughta go down to the pokemon center and get yah some proper bandages and such...
