Komi-san and Konoha-san made plans for a party this weekend a while ago.
I don't know when they decided on it, but it seems they both wanted to use it as an opportunity to get me to meet with one of the middle hitters from the Fukurodani girls' team.

Someone will always be offended no matter what I do, so there isn't any point in worrying about that sort of thing. I'm mostly just trying to understand how you managed to get a black eye all on your own.

Well, that's fairly simple.
My senpais were trying to be helpful and set me up with another volleyball player. But, she was more aggressive in spirit than I anticipated.
That date was never going to work out...but there was no telling it'd be so troublesome.
The alcohol didn't help.

It's just that drinking never seems to go well for you. I can't think of any other reason why you would keep doing it.

It's not as though these events happen on nights before practices and games.

If you're trying to earn a reputation as a delinquent, you might want to consider shaving your head instead. That's a lot easier to maintain than getting someone to punch you in the face every time.
