[He really, really hopes that's not how it is at Nekoma, either.]

Yeah, I can tell. That's why Kuroo wants to stay friendly with you guys.

[ If you only listened to Kenma's usual complaining, you would think that Nekoma forces people, but that's not really the case. ] I just mean there are a lot of groups made of nothing but people who had nowhere else to go and got trapped.

[Yamaguchi relaxes a bit, still prickling with nervousness at the thought. That would suck.] I'd definitely hate that kinda work, if it was with a group like that.

[ Kenma just shrugs at that. He hates work no matter what group he's for. He really doesn't do much to dispel the idea that he's being forced into stuff, but really he's just lazy... He likes Nekoma and Karasuno, really... ]

I'm gonna start cleaning up in here, okay? [Without waiting for an answer, Yamaguchi will set to work gathering the dropped poker chips again, and organizing the playing cards on the table.]

Go ahead. [ A polite person who is loitering would at least offer to help. Kenma is not a polite person. ]

[Yamaguchi goes ahead and tidies up the room then, not minding the quiet company. More often than not he and Tsukishima would lounge around in amicable silence, too, when there was nothing to talk about.

Eventually, Yamaguchi finishes, clearing his throat to try and get Kenma's attention.] I'm gonna study for my classes now...you need anything before I get started?
