[ Red's watching Roxie the whole time, with the same starstruck puppy-dog look as ever--although he's a little less vocal about it now, with his throat still sore from cheering during the concert. This kid does not do anything in moderation.

He hangs back after the concert like she asked, of course, even if he's too much of a pushover to shove through the other fans lining up for autographs. When Roxie beckons, Red's face will light up, nearly tripping over his own feet in his haste to get to the side of the stage. ]

Rah- [ he winces, clears his throat, and tries again in a slightly raspy voice ] -Roxie, wow, that was, ahck, incredible--you guys were so good!

[Wow Red, where does all that enthusiasm come from. Roxie actually starts laughing at that.]

Thanks--you were doing some pretty hard rocking out yourself. [Meaning yes, she saw how silly you looked during her concert. She passes over one of the available water bottles for him to take, since he sounds like he could really use some water now.] I think you need this more than I do, in fact.

I- [ cough, cough ] -I-I was? [ Well, since you're smiling, we're happy too! Taking that water and guzzling it gratefully-- ]

Just outta curiosity, was this your first concert you've ever been to?

[ Red finishes gulping down the rest of the water, offering her a weak smile before he answers. ]

I - um, I-I think so? [ Going to a live studio taping of Professor Oak's Pokémon Talk doesn't count, right? 'Cause that was way boring. ] ...B-But yours was still the best, I'm sure of it! You guys - you were so good!

Heh, thanks. You should see what the concerts are like towards the end of the tour--they can be pretty intense! [A slight pause, before she adds] Plus, you should see us perform back in Unova too sometime; that way, you'll be able to check out my gym in Virbank too!

[ He coughs again, trying to clear his throat, but he's smiling. ]

Y-You think? You want me to come watch your concert in Unova? I'd - I'd love to challenge your gym! That'd be so cool!

[venoshocks]

Duh, of course it would! My gym is the best! [Or maybe that's just a personal bias that most gym leaders have about their own gyms.] Plus, I'm curious to see what kinda Pokemon you've got that could go up against mine--being from Kanto, I expect them to give us an interesting challenge, got it?

[ Red's about to say that he couldn't possibly pick a favorite gym, they're all his favorite - but then he picks up on the challenge in her words and perks up, suddenly looking more than a little competitive. ]

Y-Yeah! You bet! My pokémon are really strong, too!

[venoshocks]

Good! That's what I like to hear!

[She plays an excited riff on the guitar that's still hanging around her.] Then it's a date--I can't wait to see what Pokemon you'll bring against our toxic offense!

[...She doesn't exactly mean date in the romantic way, just so you know.]

[ Well, regardless of what you meant, Red's still going to blush REALLY hard again at the word date. If Roxie got a nickel for every time Red was flustered in her presence, it would probably bring in more revenue than her concert tickets. ]

...I--I mean, YEAH, uhh, of course, I'll be there! I-I don't know when yet, but I'll definitely come battle you at your gym...!

[venoshocks]

[Cute. Roxie then reaches out to give Red a shoulder-punch, but not too hard.]

Good, 'cause I'll hold you to that promise! Just don't keep me waiting too long, ya hear?
