HAPPIEST MOMENT OF ETHAN'S LIFE. He'll kiss you even longer than that first time he did, only he knows how so it's only joyous instead of awkward.]

[ Red kisses him back with so much passion and happiness that ETHAN WON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO HANDLE IT.

This is without a doubt the best day of his life. ]

[okay, this in front of people, so Ethan will eventually cut off that blissful kiss. THEY CAN CONTINUE IT ELSEWHERE. He removes his lips from Red, looking him in the face before giving him a big hug, lifting him off the floor a bit. They're excused by the officiator, who gives them the final piece of paper to sign and turn in. A nice secretary hands Red their new marriage certificate.]

[ Red lets out a small noise of happiness (and lung compression) when Ethan lifts him off the floor, and he's so giddy he can barely get his signature on the paper to hand it over. He takes the marriage certificate with shaking hands.]

W-We did it! I can't believe we're actually married!

I knew it would happen! A-and there's still all the other stuff to do, too... ah, this is gonna be great, Red. We'll get a permanent-like house and you can do the tournaments around here, m-maybe I'll open a day-care, I'd love to raise little pokemon. [he's shied away from battling over the years. Ethan was all too ready to be domestic for once in his life. The traveling was fun, but he wanted a bed to call his and Red's and yard and a door random young people just walk right through for a chat!]

You really want to? That sounds so cute! You'd have so many baby pokémon! [ nothing about that is not adorable and Red would really like for it to happen ]

It'll be great, it'll be the best, even-- hahaa! [Ethan laughs, squeezing Red's hand tight and slinging his bag back over his shoulder after he safely stashed away the marriage certificate]

B-but first thing's first, we gotta get a place to stay tonight, don't we? I don't think we'll be able to find a house of our own before dark!

...Oh, man, that's right! I didn't even think about that! [ Good thing Ethan sometimes remembers things because Red sure doesn't... ]

W-well, this is kinda, I mean, also our honey moon. We could get a nice hotel for a week or something, while we get a house in order.

[ It takes him a minute to realize but Ethan’s getting at, but when he does, Red will flush brightly again. This time he’s all smiles. ]

Y-Yeah! We could totally do that! We’re gonna have the best week ever, just you wait!

Kinda funny, I got all caught up figurin' out the wedding, didn't plan nothing for after. [he chuckles, adjusting the back of his hat]

[ Red nods enthusiastically, grabbing Ethan's hand. ]

Okay! Lead the way! Man, I can't wait to call Mom and Daisy and Green and Professor Oak to tell them that it's official! And Misty and Brock to, duh, and Lance and them from the Indigo League, and that girl Whitney from Johto and Lyra and your mom while we're at it and...

[ Feel free to shut him up. At any time. ]

[Ethan will just join in in the ramble fest of enthusiasm]

We could send back old fashion letters, like, wedding announcements, only the wedding already happened. My mom would like a nice picture of us, I'm sure, so we should put that in it! Especially if we're gonna stay here a while and all.

Oh, okay! Let's go find a nice-looking place to take a picture soon!

Tomorrow, tomorrow-- [Ethan just squeezes Red's hand in his, leaning in to kiss his boyfriend on the cheek. Well, less on the cheek, more back toward the ear~]

We got other stuff for tonight, huh?

I-I'm sorta nervous... [he knows you are, so he should mention that he is, too.]

I think it'll be great, though, and if not, well... we got a whole lotta time to practice, huh?

[ Red nods a little, beaming, then tilts his head enough to kiss you back. Man we are so blushing right now but that's okay. ]

I-I think I know what to do, I mean, I looked into it-- I mean, not in like a creepy way or nothin'-- Uhm... I just wanted to know a bit first.

Oh, well...y-you, uhh, you probably know more about it than I do! But it can't be that hard, right?

[ Red got the first of "The Bees and Also the Bees" talk from Green when they were both nine, but he's at least picked up on the more accurate logistics of it since then, albeit lacking in more specific details. He's never been terribly good about planning ahead... ]

Well... from what I figured, yah just can't... rush. If yah rush it too much, 'specially the first time, I think it'd probably just hurt pretty bad-like...

N-Not to worry yah! Or nothin', I would never want to hurt yah. That'd just ruin it...

[ Red smiles reassuringly, leaning in to nuzzle Ethan's face. ]

Duh! I know you wouldn't ever want to hurt me. A-And besides, I can deal with a little pain, ha ha--it's not a big deal!

[right, Ethan forgets how easily his husbando shrugs off horrible injuries-- but that came with him being so damn clumsy .]

[ If there's one thing Red has in abundance, it's definitely confidence! Also stupidity. And trust. And horrible injuries, as mentioned, along with the horrible clumsiness.

But the keyword here is confidence. ]

Of course I am! This is going to be so much fun! Oh my gosh, Ethan, we're really MARRIED! [ laughing and squeezing you so darn tight until all the worry comes out!!! ]

[Ethan just laughs breathlessly back, pulling Red along to the hotel of the city. They seem pretty used to the happy newlywed deal and are all too happy to give them a larger sized room for the week. All happiness and sunshine and rainbows--]

Come here, Red. [Ethan will unlock the door, but before they get in he'll lean down and pick Red up. That's how it went, right? Carry him through the door!

And not letting him be clumsy and bump his head in the entry way! Ethan looks out for his boy, alright]
